Accenture has been chosen to implement its Web-based Claim Components software application at Kemper Insurance Companies, a provider of commercial casualty and specialty insurance services, and has licensed the software to Kemper.
The system will be integrated with Kemper’s current claims application, enabling Kemper’s staff to administer claims more easily and efficiently. The software implementation is targeted for completion within nine to 12 months.
Accenture has already licensed its Claim Components software to eight leading property/casualty insurers, and more than 7,000 claim handlers are already using the solution at their desktops.
The company recently announced the launch of release 2.0 of its Claim Components software that supports multi-language and multi-currency financial transactions and includes several new components designed to help insurers significantly reduce claims-handling time, streamline the claims-handling process and reduce claims leakage, payment errors and overpayment.
