After launching in the West and first four central states, AMS Services is introducing its QuoteWorks rating product to remaining central and some southern states.
New features of the QuoteWorks product include a client-based design that stores multiple quotes for individual clients, quote tracking reports that help close deals, HTML-based letters that integrate with Microsoft Outlook and other email programs and compare screens that allow producers to evaluate multiple markets on a single screen. QuoteWorks currently supports personal lines of business; QuoteWorks Commercial will be released in 2003.
To date, QuoteWorks products have been introduced in the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Vermont and Wisconsin.
By the end of the year, QuoteWorks products will also be in Michigan and Minnesota, which completes the rollout in all of AMS’s personal lines states. Existing AMS rating customers will receive the upgrade to QuoteWorks for free.
