Joseph Beneducci has been promoted to executive vice president and chief operating officer of Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company, reporting to Charles Kavitsky, president and CEO.
Beneducci was formerly executive vice president and chief administrative officer. Reporting to Beneducci in his new role will be the company’s four business segments (Personal, Commercial, Marine and Interstate/Agribusiness) as well as Distribution Management and Marketing, Brand Development and Enterprise Operations.
“Joe has an in-depth understanding of the property/casualty business and a proven ability to lead teams to exceptional results,” Kavitsky said. “In his new role, he will apply his experience and leadership qualities to help Fireman’s Fund become a more integrated organization that effectively aligns the parallel interests of agents, policyholders and the company.”
Beneducci joined Fireman’s Fund in 1998 after a 10-year career at Chubb & Sons in increasingly responsible positions in commercial underwriting, commercial marketing and management.
Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company provides personal, commercial, marine, excess and surplus lines and agribusiness insurance products nationwide.
