Venture Insurance Programs has appointed Kim McLaughlin as director of human resources.
In this position, McLaughlin is responsible for providing human resources support and advice to company executives and others throughout the organization, and contributing to strategic planning and implementation. She also creates and implements human resources policies and procedures, and manages the company’s recruitment, performance management and bonus incentive programs.
McLaughlin joins Venture with more than eight years of human resources experience. Previously, she was the human resources manager at EB Games/Electronics Boutique in West Chester, Pa., and staff human resources consultant for Allstate Insurance Company in Wayne, Pa.
A resident of Exton, Pa., McLaughlin received her bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in human resources from Widener University. She received her Professional Human Resources designation in 1998. McLaughlin also serves as an active member of the Society for Human Resources Management.
