August 9, 2005

Zurich, one of the nation’s largest property/casualty insurance companies, announced that Daniel Flood has joined its North American operations as crime product manager. In this role, Flood will have oversight for the marketing and underwriting functions of the commercial crime product.

Prior to joining Zurich, Flood held various underwriting and claims positions at AIG, most recently as a national accounts crime underwriter.

Zurich’s crime coverage protects companies confronted by crime-related losses that could potentially have a catastrophic impact to the bottom line. The range of covered crime-related losses may include employee dishonesty and theft; credit card forgery; computer fraud and theft; and theft, disappearance and destruction of property. The crime product is available for a variety of organizations (some excluded classes apply). For financial institutions, crime/fidelity coverage is offered by other Zurich units.

Coverage highlights include:

* Capacity up to $25 million on a primary or excess basis;
* Options including third party coverage; three-year policy terms up to $10 million in limit of liability; employee dishonesty or employee theft available.
