The National Association of Professional Insurance Agents has named Kellie Bray to head its federal affairs efforts as assistant vice president of federal affairs.
“Kellie Bray is an effective advocate for professional insurance agents on Capitol Hill,” Brevik said. “She has distinguished herself as a lobbyist for PIA, handling issues including insurance regulation, flood insurance, crop insurance and natural disaster. We are pleased that Kellie will now head up PIA’s advocacy with Congress.”
In her new role, Bray will expand her involvement with PIA’s day-to-day lobbying efforts and contacts on Capitol Hill, the annual PIA National Federal Legislative Summit and will continue to be lead liaison with the association’s Federal Affairs Committee and the Professional Insurance Agents Political Action Committee (PIAPAC). She will report to PIA National Senior Vice President Patricia A. Borowski.
Bray began her career at PIA in March of 2001. Prior to that, she served as the PAC Coordinator for the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association from 1999 to 2001. She is a native of Cameron, Mo., and received a bachelor’s degree in General Agriculture and Political Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
