PGI Commercial Partnership to Serve Habitational Risks

PGI Commercial, a provider of property and casualty insurance programs based in Morristown, N.J., has formed new partnerships in order to provide habitational insurance programs.

PGI’s new partners, Sirius America Insurance Company, Insurance Corporation of Hannover, and Clarendon America Insurance Company, are all in the specialty insurance market.

Through the partnership, PGI Commercial will offer property and casualty programs specifically designed to meet the insurance needs of two market segments: owners and managers of commercial apartment buildings; and condominium associations.

PGI’s new partners will have distinct geographic territories in offering the new programs. Sirius America Insurance Company (A, VII) will provide coverage on an admitted basis in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin. Insurance Corporation of Hannover (ICH) (A, XV) will offer coverage on an admitted basis in Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Washington. Clarendon America Insurance Company (A-X), a sister company of ICH, will offer coverage in the same states as ICH, but on a non-admitted basis.

PGI Commercial is the U.S. program manager of Bermuda-based insurance distributor Primary Group Limited. PGIC manages property and casualty programs on a nationwide basis.
