Encino, Calif.-based NAS Insurance Services has a new miscellaneous medical malpractice insurance program provided by Houston Casualty Company (HC) of Houston, Texas, rated A+ by A.M. Best.
Existing NAS medical malpractice insureds will be renewed with HC. However, Texas insureds will be renewed with HCC Specialty Insurance Co., which is also rated A+ by A.M. Best.
Underwriting is available in all states except Alaska, Hawaii and West Virginia.
Defense outside the limits is available, as is supplementary sexual abuse/molestation insurance.
The minimum deductible is $1,000, and the minimum premium is $2,000.
