ACE USA, the U.S.-based retail operating division of the ACE Group of Companies, has announced that its Construction Industry Practice, formerly part of ACE Risk Management, will now become a unit of ACE Casualty Risk, and work collaboratively with brokers, design professionals and contractors to develop effective risk management solutions using both traditional and non-traditional approaches.
The ACE USA Construction unit will write for all classes of construction businesses, including large general contractors, construction managers, design professionals and specialty contractors, wrap-ups and other project-specific risks. These products will be distributed through the retail brokerage community to the commercial market.
“We believe that brokers and contractors need committed insurance partners dedicated to meeting the distinct needs of the construction industry. Bringing together ACE USA’s specialized teams of construction risk experts and the ACE Casualty Risk team of environmental and casualty risk experts further demonstrates our commitment to this industry and highlights the importance we place on this market segment,” said John Lupica, President & Chief Executive Officer, ACE USA.
ACE Casualty Risk specializes in lead umbrella and excess liability, custom primary casualty, public entity and environmental liability insurance products, which are primarily distributed through the retail brokerage community to the commercial market.
