USG Insurance Services, Inc. a national broker of commercial insurance headquartered in Tampa, Fla., has introduced a vacant package program available for both commercial and residential properties.
Coverage is written on A XV rated paper and USG is currently paying 12.5 percent commission to agents.
Exposures can include renovations and remodeling. The in-house facility has $2 million property limit and $1million/$2 million general liability limits. USG offers virtually unlimited excess capacity as well. Utilizing the other carriers in USG’s wholesale division agents can also place umbrella, OCP, and builders risk coverages.
According to Kristen Taylor, national marketing coordinator for USG, the firm is now offering interested agents who write large volumes of vacant packages in-house rating capabilities to simplify writing vacant packages for banks, real estate companies, and corporations.
USG’s vacant package program is now available in most states and is designed as a package for simplicity. USG offers 24 hour quoting and phone indications for this product.
