Specialty insurance broker Burns & Wilcox announced it has access to specified medical professions products offered by Shand Morahan & Co. Inc. and Colony Insurance Co.
The markets can be written with combined professional and general liability, and can include medical directors, students in training programs and volunteer workers. Coverage can comprise most procedures usually associated with medispas, including botox injections and other dermal fillers, chemical peels, electrolysis, laser hair removal, massage therapy, hyperbaric services, microdermabrasion, cellulite treatments and sleep clinics. Prior acts coverage is available with this product, and physicians and dentists can be added to the policy as an insured.
Premiums on both products are as low as $2,500, with a minimum deductible of $2,500. Maximum insurance limits are $5 million. Both markets were given A.M Best’s “A” XI rating.
Coverage can be written in all states.
