West Chester, Pa.-based Venture Insurance Programs, a national program administrator, recently named Michael Rogers as executive vice president and managing director of a new specialty property unit.
Rogers will establish a start-up program for Venture specializing in the production and management of a property and inland marine book of business. His primary focus will be coastal property. In addition, Rogers will serve as a property expert to other Venture programs.
Most recently Rogers was a new business manager and property manager for the NIF Group, where he was responsible for growth and development of property brokerage business for the New York City office. Rogers’ experience also includes a position as assistant vice president of the Property Brokerage Division at United National Insurance Group and a property underwriter for United States Liability Insurance Group.
