San Diego-based brokerage Arrowhead Wholesale Insurance Services LLC (AWIS) has added a new product to complement its focus on architects and engineer-related industries, targeting smaller low-hazard firms.
The architects and engineers professional liability policy includes a full occurrence business owners policy (BOP) with comprehensive general liability cover, including products and completed operations liability, tenants’ legal liability, employee benefits liability, non-owned and hired auto, and medical expenses. Professional Liability policies start with a minimum premium of $2,500 and adding the BOP starts at a minimum additional premium of $575. Property/contents can be included upon underwriting.
The policy is provided by a Lloyd’s syndicate on a nonadmitted basis targeting densely populated regions in the United States, primarily Arizona, California, Louisiana, Nevada, New York, Oregon, Texas and Washington.
The brokerage has started to roll out the product to currently appointed agents and plans to expand its distribution channel in the months ahead.
