Alabama-based Regions Financial is expanding access to personal lines insurance for its bank customers in Tennessee, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa and Virginia.
Customers will be able to purchase homeowners, renters, automobile, recreational vehicles, motorcycles, watercraft and specialty insurance products for personal insurance needs.
The company says its insurance agency, Regions Insurance Group, will add additional states for personal lines insurance sales over the course of the next year. It has banks in 16 states in the South, Midwest and Texas.
Access to insurance products is being provided through a call center the bank opened earlier this year in Kokomo, Indiana. The center is staffed by non-commissioned, licensed insurance agents, according to the company.
