It’s not that human beings are better drivers, it because of better safety technology in vehicles and highway design. All that’s being done is to prevent or mitigate injury/damages by increasing the cost of vehicles and taxes. _ssholes will always be a problem behind the wheel.

As usual, we’ve found another “workaround” to help even the galactically careless driver survive their own disasters. Great strategy! Let’ just keep idiot-proofing everything so the 99% can protect themselves from the 1%.
