Maritime Program Group (MPG) has launched an exclusive motor truck cargo program along with North American Specialty Insurance Co., a member of Swiss Re.
The program will focus on risks with 1 to 15 units though it has the capability to consider all sizes. It is available in all states.
MPG will provide coverage for long- and short-haul risks, refrigeration breakdown, unscheduled vehicles, shipper’s endorsements and terminal coverage. The program covers most commodities with no radius limitation and will consider new ventures if they have experience.
“Our flexibility, coverage and market are exceptional, however, MPG’s biggest asset is our people”, said David Morrill, Inland Marine Program Manager. “There are many nuances involved in motor truck cargo that can get an inexperienced agent in trouble. We bring tons of experience to the table for our agents and help walk them through this tough class of business.”
MPG is a program administrator with primary offices in Westbrook, Conn. and Manchester, N.H. The company specialize in marine-related assets in recreational marine, inland marine and ocean marine.
