RLI Corp. has formed a new partnership with Recreation Insurance Specialists (RIS), a specialty recreation vehicle (RV) insurance agency that will allow RLI to underwrite RV insurance for RIS. RLI has hired Eric Raudins to manage the new product line as assistant vice president, underwriting.
RLI will write liability and physical damage coverage for motor homes, travel trailers and fifth wheel campers. Policies are currently available through RIS and their independent agent partners.
Raudins has more than 20 years of insurance industry experience. He joined RLI from RIS, where he served as chief operating officer. Prior to his role at RIS, Raudins served as vice president of personal lines at National Interstate Insurance Co.
Recreation Insurance Specialists, LLC was founded in 2006 and created the Blue Sky RV Insurance Program to provide specialized coverage for the industry and the RV consumer.
