All Risks, Ltd.’s National Specialty Programs unit has introduced an ice rink insurance program, called RinkPro. This nationwide insurance program is supported by a program manager and a carrier rated “A XV” by A.M. Best, featuring claim and loss control services and no minimum premium. Timothy Sullivan, professional ice rink program manager, will be responsible for running the program.
The insurance program can be tailored to a variety of indoor and outdoor facilities, including rinks with a synthetic ice surface; those that feature a restaurant and/or snack bar; or an equipment/sporting goods store. Classes also acceptable to this program include: ice rinks that feature ice hockey, ice skating or figure skating camps; clinics, leagues and tournaments; and non-ice sports such as soccer or lacrosse.
Coverages include: general liability including sexual abuse & molestation and liquor liability; property including building replacement costs; buried piping and equipment breakdown; indoor/outdoor glass coverage; inland marine and pollution liability for ice resurfacing equipment, workers’ compensation and umbrella coverage.
