Well this is a no brainer. You delay Employer Mandate you must delay individual mandate. Once the Employer Mandate is delayed, all of us employees are now “Individuals”. If my employer does not offer a health plan or dropped the health plan & expects us to now go through Federal Exchange, aren’t I now governed under Individual Mandate? Then subject to fines, sorry taxes, for not having a health plan in effect?
We need to thank Reid, Pelosi, Hoyer & Obama & the democratic party for their ill conceived planned takeover of U.S. healthcare!
Get over it, Celtica. If there had to be a war, I’d rather that it was over there and not here, wouldn’t you? And, just what do you call Obama arming the Syrian rebels or the Muslim Brotherhood?? Are those actions not condoning war? You lefties are such hypocrites.
B.S., Libby. That is pure B.S. and you know it. The dem’s voted for it, too. So please…get off your liberal soap box and speak the truth!!

Libya, a guy attacked his own people Obama called for the guy to resign. He used the whole scenario to start a war. Libya = Iraq. There’s a reason I don’t care about what Obama did with Libya and it’s that I’m balanced unlike you. If it’s right in one scenario it’s right in another.
Iraq: Guy kills hundreds of thousands of his people, democrats in HW’s presidency say how Bush Snr should have forced Saddam to resign including Al Gore. George W goes to war with the country stating he cannot use chemical warfare on his own people (chemical warfare is a form of WMD). Saddam had used them. Just because he stopped and used other methods of torture doesn’t mean he was in good standings on UN Sanctions. WMDS were not the only requirements for Saddam. He was meant to end policing his own people to death. WMD’s were not the reason we went to war, how many times do I have to tell you this?
Then Al Gore changed his mind and says we should go to war in 2001. Then he says again we shouldn’t have done it shortly after in 2006 when public opinion changed. This IS using wars for public opinion, which you said democrats don’t do but they did. Bush W didn’t go to war for public opinion. He did it AGAINST public opinion because it was the right thing to do.
The info that lead to Iraq’s war started before his presidency I might add, so NO Bush W did not mislead the people. Though you have been ill informed on the issue. One of your quotes was there was no evidence Saddam had worked with Al Quieda, you meant to add AGAIN because they were around HW’s presidency. What you meant to say was there was no evidence it continued, but there was also no evidence it stopped.

I’ve listed to you a few issues. Tell me, were they ever extreme?
I told you why I preferred Bush W over Obama. Tell me, was it because of some stupid thing like Obama started a war with Libya?
No.
Was it about what comments he made about Libya?
No.
I mentioned the retirement plans, that he tried to put in place. Which I might add, because you are so focused on the wrong issues you don’t even know about that policy.

Another “chicken little”. None of the things indicated in your post has happened. Similar to the opposition to medicare in the 60s that said if Medicare was enacted “we would be headed down the road towards communism” (see the Ronald Reagan PSA made before Medicare became law). Scarry stuff but none of it based in reality. What of the scary predictions made by the right wing has actually come true?
Not a thing, D. But that’s not the point. They got the masses all fired up, paranoid, and frightened of the evil of liberal ideas. That’s all they wanted to do. It’s called control by fear. Also used by the church to control the masses (pun intended.)
It’s funny you would say control by fear, then mention the church.
Considering the speeches Obama did regarding the church, and their controlling ways, and how we had to get them in check by passing laws, and regarding how democrats structure gay marriage laws to engage in “fear” tactics.
You’re trying to say nothing the republicans have said came true eh? The word “nothing” is extremely polarized in nature, and isn’t true.
Price controls with oil would be one that panned out. I don’t even have to list any because it’s clear you guys are far too biased but I did. All I had to do was say one after all, because your insanity was a “never” argument.

Frat children to me is the following Libby:
It is making the argument, while destroying someone’s credibility, that they are a no nothing person based on the fact that they are a certain type of person.
It’s prejudice. You ever seen frat boys? Go delta. Go Omega. They all think their frat is the best. They all do extremely immature hazings etc and figure it’s all part of the process.
You constantly attack Agent on issues that aren’t similar to his current topic in order to discredit him. You make a game of it, trying to make it look like he knows nothing. Then you use words like “Nothing” when it comes to politics. My god I don’t even need to continue. It is so polarized it definitely is similar to a frat boy’s allegiance to his fraternity.

Ill conceived is putting it mildly TAR. This is the mother of all laws of unintended consequences. Every day brings a new revelation and it isn’t good. 2,700 pages with 12,000+ pages of regulations, is so complex legal scholars can’t decipher it, not to mention a boatload of taxes/fines in it. Wow, why aren’t we happy with this?
Finally — something the GOP does something I agree with. Of course, this also means that they finally recognize that it is THE law.
BTW, where are all the IJ naysayers from the other Obama thread who wanted the law implemented no matter what when Obama called for a delay for business.
Celtica,
The GOP has alsways accepted that the law voted in with back-room deals is law and hence, they have tried “legally” to have it revoked. That said, I’m not sure what BO thinks it is. Since when does the president have the right to unilateraly change a law or not support a law that was voted in by Congress? Oh yeah, this administration has a track record of picking and choosing which laws to support.
PM. I suggest you google the name David Addington. He is a constitutional attorney employed by the Bush administration to draft “signing statements”. These statements were basically made up constitutional powers for the President to use at his whim. Addington was only in the administation due to his expertise in constitutional law so he could devise ways to circumvent our constitution. Bush set a record for utilizing this sinister method at usurping checks and balances. Mr. Addington is now on the other side at a right wing think tank fighting potential signing statements that Obama might try to utilize. Your naive notion that the GOP does things “legally” is cute.
looks like Carney, speaking on behalf of the administration that’s supposed to be for the people said “too bad so sad, we crammed it down the public’s throats now good luck chewing on it”.
This is an obvious wheel and deal from the Republicans, and it is the norm in the constant party politic antics. They want to hold the Dems over the fire to delay the individual mandate to be able to say see “it’s all falling apart.” Just as the Dems used the delay of the employer mandate for their motives, which was not losing elections because of the employer mandate would of effected so many employers and been so ill-received. It’s all positioning for their next talking points in election campaigns and the media will eat it all up and the people will follow and everyone will ignore the real issues and real solutions.
And still nothing about Job Creation from either side.
I’ve done my part. My marketing Activities have forced me to hire two new 29 hour workers in the past 45 days.
Too bad OBama Care is on the books. I still have a 15 – 20 hour worker to hire.
Not really. Its at some ones expense. In other words, for every position I create, its going to cost someone else their job.
At the end of the day, a lateral move on the overall unemployment.
To my knowledge, there are three brokers that closed up shop in my local area. I important to note, most of my growth is coming from counties other then my office location.

PC, you and all your like-minded right-wingers have a very short memory of what things were like in 2008, 2009, and 2010. Things are indeed better. Companies are making record profits, the stock market has hit new highs, and businesses are hiring and unemployment has stopped increasing.
Where the hell have you been??? Too busy with your little pity parties and lynch mobs to look around and see for yourself?

Rent is more expensive. I found 1200sq ft for $500.00 a month when that space rented 6 years ago for over $1500 @ month.
If I have 10% of my business in my home town Zip Code, I may be over stating.
Additionally, I love my 3 minute drive in heavy traffic to work. My old location was 7 minutes in heavy traffic. Cost of gas jumped over $4.00 now. That’s also a factor.
I’ve been main st address in my town for over 20 years now. I kind of like saying I am a main st agent for that long. Only thing that will change that is an out of state move. Sat down with a biz consultant in WI over 4th of July. Financially, its a no brainer. I talked to someone that made the jump about 15 years ago. He says he still gets crap about being from IL. I’m not a good ole boy. I am a Bears fan. I am a Cubs Fan. I don’t fish. I don’t hunt. 4 major hurdles which could end up costing me any financial advantage. If I did make the move, it would be a coin flip weather – big picture – I would benefit. I just cant bring myself to say – Bear Suck. Everyone knows the Cubs suck. Or are they finally coming around? Theo seems to know what he is doing. Now, if the City * State would get off their dead buts and approve the Wrigley Renovations to the tune of $500M – a jobs project they are sitting on, maybe – just maybe the Cubs would do something other then finish playing in Sept.
That’s is my current line of thinking. I signed a one year lease. I’ve got 120 months to process all this.
That’s all I need – more on my plate!!!!!
I have yet to hear back from the IRS. I am hoping this means I am free and clear. Wish full thinking???? I have three tax pros telling me I am fine – not to worry.
FFA, I’ve been in WI for almost 20 years now and I’m still a Bears fan. I call myself a missionary.
Plus, I’d rather be in a pro-business environment that Scott Walker is working on developing than the cesspool that is IL. Just don’t move to the People’s Republic of Madison!
Thanks for Chiming in Carl. What part of WI you from?
I’m thinking Kenosha – Racine area for a possible move. I like Delavan area too.
There is a little town called Clinton that peaks my interest. Maybe Wal Worth???
I own property not far from the dells and not too far outside Castle Rock so moving Lake Side – not too interested as I have my lake place.
For what its worth, I would vote for Walker for President. Made a lot of hard decisions with out fear. Fought off Recall Election – first time anyone in the history of the US retained office on the other side of a recall.
Now, Rod is trying to get out of jail and get a new trial. Blaming the Judge. Quinn threatens to hold paychecks until the Budget thing is resolved and still – nothing! Also, not another word out of him or anyone on that subject.
Libby has got some pull – Last night news CPD took down a major gun runner in Chicago.
Also reported – major Mule for a major King Pin busted running heroine between Chicago & Milwaukee.
Murder rate down 25% this year vs last year.
On to the bad news – Chicago Schools laying off 2000+ people today.
Head of US Marshal Office in Chicago – an OBama Appointment as reported by ABC 7 – has screwed up the 30M budget to the point the folks from DC office had to come in and take over.

Oh, we get it all right. And the sky is not falling. So we won’t be listening to all the Republican fear-mongering BS. Thank you.
PC, how old are you?
Funny thing – I go the next town over – not even 5 miles – and the town is jumping. Few if any Vacancy on their Main st – ground level and 2nd story included – with all the little side streets filled and jumping.
Why don’t you relocate there?
jw–my age is none of your bidness.
You act like you’re 12.
Thanks, Libby! I like acting a lot younger than I really am—it keeps me…well….YOUNG!!!!! You should try it sometime! It must not be any fun being an uptight b**** all the time. Let your hair down! Put the Kool-Aid down!! Get your hands dirty!! Run through the rain! Jump in a puddle! These are all fun things to do!!!
Me? Uptight? You make me laugh. I’m the one sitting in my rocking chair, on the porch, drinking kool-aid and enjoying the hell out of life.
You’re the one preaching the country in going down the tubes, the ecomomy will never recover, and all the other dire things you anticipate happening in the world.
Well, it sounds like things are picking up for you since you’ve had to hire 2 new people. Maybe that means you should stay put for now.
Sorry, Ive got 12 months not 120 months. My wife is pushing me to buy this building when I want out!
You’re welcome, FFA. :-)
Call Springfield now.
It’s next on my list…
