    It’s “ab·surd” not absurb
    /əbˈsərd,əbˈzərd/
adjective: absurd; comparative adjective: absurder; superlative adjective: absurdest
(of an idea or suggestion) wildly unreasonable, illogical, or inappropriate.
    “the allegations are patently absurd”

We forgive one misspelling, but not two in the same article. Is this what Common Core education produces?

Another point of view: Doesn’t Mcdonalds (Corporate) tell each franshiser: What to sell, where to sell, what hours, how to prepare the food, what to charge, etc….etc….????????

Isn’t McDonalds the franchiser and the store the franchisee or do I have that wrong? If this case goes against the business, many stores will close down because people are not going to buy a Big Mac for $8-10. Many stores are already using people that don’t speak much English. My wife ordered their fish sandwich last night at the counter, opened it up and had received a quarter pounder. Then, we had to wait for the fish sandwich.

Riveting stuff is an understatement! I can’t wait for the sequel. Will there be enough tartar sauce for the fish sandwich? Will she have to go back for more? And more importantly, what happened to the erroneous quarter pounder?!?!? The suspense is killing me!

Agreed, Franklin – Agent can’t just set up that story without telling us more!

Did they trade the 1/4-pounder for the fish sandwich or were able to keep both? Did they order-in or take it to go from the counter and, if the latter, were they just lucky they looked at it before they left McD’s? Also, just how long did it take until they corrected their error? Inquiring insurance minds want to know…

          Says the guy…

          Who called Agent a troll…

This is akin to what we see in movies for bullying behavior.

A kid mocking what another kid said and trying to make it look cool while doing it.

I almost vomit when I read things like this Rosenbalt, don’t tell me you did it with good intentions. You were just practically on a third grade level saying “nee ner nee ner nee ner!!”

Sick. Plain sick. Making it pretty is exactly the problem I have with bullies.

          It isn’t pretty.

          People swear. People argue.

Bullies make it fun so others join in. The bullied is usually the one swearing actually…Which is why I find it so funny that people on this site constantly belittle the person who is so pissed at their mistreatment that they are acting irrational. It is called mocking their emotions.

Agent is over the top. Yes. And at least 5 people are bullying him on a constant basis.

Not the least of which, you, who are doing the best job of making it look cool and fun.

Bob – While you have every right to believe I’m a troll, I think we differ in one main area which can’t be overlooked.

How are you defining trolling actions?

To me, and sources online, trolling is: A person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people, by posting inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.

The traditional definition of trolling includes intent. That is, trolls purposely disrupt forums. Whether someone intends to disrupt a thread or not, the results are the same if they do.

Nowhere in my reply did I insult Agent, and I kept my reply completely on-topic (he told a story – bought a fish sandwich, got a burger – and I asked sarcastic follow-up questions).

Again – I did not insult Agent, I did not make any comments outside of his story, and I wasn’t provoking him to respond emotionally about something besides what he already brought up on his own.

I asked sarcastic questions that you didn’t find funny. I can get behind that. To imply what I wrote was a troll move (off-topic, done to derail conversation, and stated emotionally to trigger a response in Agent) is not accurate.

Also, did you happen to read the post I made immediately after that one you thought was a tolling attempt? The one where I simply agreed with Agent about franchiser vs. franchisee?

Does that on-topic answer to one of his questions count for nothing in your “Rosenblatt is just a troll when he replies to Agent” stance?

Hey Bob, take it easy on the leftist trolls. They don’t know right from wrong. It took Rosenblatt 10 posts and dozens of paragraphs to finally admit that booger and Libby did me wrong on the identity issue. They can’t post anything without about 8 paragraphs of nonsense.

Good comment troll. Can you not understand plain English? Who would go into a McDonald’s to order at the counter if they weren’t going to stay to eat? They do have a drive through, by the way. Yes, they exchanged it with the fish sandwich and apologized in their own fashion. My point is they don’t seem to speak English at a lot of these stores, kind of like some on this blog.

Agent – you’re correct: McDonald’s would be the franchiser and the individual locations would be considered the franchisee(s).

Franklin – I believe that, according to Bob’s theory, you’re a troll and a bully for asking that question again.

As for my take – I found your question to be completely hilarious and didn’t think your intent was to p1ss anyone off. Thanks for the laugh!!

Big Mac, Mc DLT, a Quarter-Pounder with some cheese, Filet-O-Fish, a hamburger, a cheeseburger, a Happy Meal. McNuggets, tasty golden french fries, regular or larger size, and salads: chef salad or garden, or a chicken salad oriental. Big Big Breakfast, Egg McMuffin, hot hot cakes, and sausage. Maybe biscuits, bacon, egg and cheese, a sausage, danish, hash browns too. And for dessert hot apple pies, and sundaes three varieties, a soft-serve cone, three kinds of shakes, and chocolatey chip cookies. And to drink a Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, and orange drink, A Sprite and coffee, decaf too, A lowfat milk, also an orange juice. I love McDonald’s, good time great taste, and I get this all at one place!!
