Reinsurance broker JLT Re has appointed Ed Hochberg as CEO of JLT Re in North America.
Hochberg is currently global head of Analytics, Banking and Advisory at JLT Re, having joined as part of the 2013 Towers Watson Re acquisition.
He will retain the responsibilities for his current role as global head of Analytics, Banking and Advisory until a replacement is appointed in the near future.
He will report to Mike Reynolds, global CEO of JLT Re.
Before joining Towers Watson in 2003, Hochberg was a senior vice president of Financial Products for PMA Re. He has also worked at PMA Capital Corp. and Deloitte & Touche, and served on the board of directors of Cathedral Capital.
