Academy of Insurance Sports New Look, Membership System

June 4, 2015

The property/casualty insurance online learning center, the Academy of Insurance, unveiled a fresh brand identity along with a new all-access membership program today.

Established 2010, the Academy includes a library of more than 230 on-demand webinars and 300+ hours of training videos from over 60 instructors. It offers courses on a variety of topics including agency management, workers’ compensation, personnel management, sales training, cyber, contract review, and more.

“We’re passionate about providing high quality education,” says Chris Boggs, vice president of Education for the Academy. “Successful firms have long understood the true value of offering high quality education throughout their organization to improve client retention, minimize losses, increase productivity, and reduce oversight.”

In its five-year history, the Academy has provided more than 7,000 insurance professionals with training. The Academy has earned a 97 percent satisfaction rate from its customers, which include carriers, agents, and service providers, according to Boggs.

The new all-access membership program features a proprietary learning management system (LMS) to help assign courses and track employee training progress.

“Now managers now have the ability to track the educational progress of their staff,” says Romeo Valdez, sales executive for the Academy. “The new membership program is not only for training new employees but also for training the talent you’ve already hired.”

Memberships are available for both individuals and groups.
