Dallas-based Docucorp® International announced it signed a software licensing agreement with The PMA Insurance Group. PMA will utilize Docucorp’s suite of software products and services, ranging from dynamic publishing capabilities to electronic delivery, to automate its correspondence and forms production process.
“In addition to eliminating the manual input of data, Docucorp’s solution will provide Web access to documents in the archive as well as support for automated workflows,” said Jim Klotz, senior vice president and CIO, The PMA Insurance Group. “By automating the correspondence and forms production process, we anticipate enhanced service to our customers as well as increased efficiencies, which will allow us to support our business growth while managing our expenses.”
To create a correspondence document in its current environment, PMA must first search multiple systems to locate various types of information and, once the information is located, type it into the correspondence document. With Docucorp’s correspondence solution, PMA will be able to flood correspondence letter templates automatically with data that is pulled electronically from multiple sources.
“Our solution will allow PMA to shorten correspondence preparation by reusing electronically captured and stored data,” said William D. Barry, senior vice president, sales and marketing, Docucorp. “This will increase efficiencies and PMA’s response time to its insureds.”
