The Independent Insurance Agents of Texas and The Republic Group, Dallas, have partnered to offer qualifying IIAT members a competitively priced, easy-to-quote personal lines program with a variety of products. The program is available now with access through the IIAT Web site at iiat.org.
Parker Rush, president and CEO of Republic, said, “We are excited about teaming up to offer this new program. Republic continues to be a big supporter of Texas independent agents and this new program strengthens a sound relationship that is a natural fit for us.
“The personal lines program reinforces our commitment to small agents, and we anticipate great results,” he added.
This program will expand the personal lines offerings available through IIAT for the benefit of small agencies. It is designed to help small agencies – both metropolitan and rural – gain access to standard personal lines products. It targets agencies that may have had difficulty obtaining direct appointments because of carriers’ minimum volume commitments or agency location.
“Adding the Republic Group Personal Lines program to our offerings is in keeping with my goals of expanding membership, services and products for IIAT. We have enjoyed a fine relationship with Republic through the years and this new program will only strengthen our partnership for the benefit of members,” said Robert Hempkins, IIAT president.
IIAT will provide training, help agency staff learn company business processing procedures, review agency progress and provide ongoing support and communication.
“The program provides several benefits to independent agents including competitive pricing, competitive commissions, flexible packages, online quoting and policy issuance, and more,” commented Bill Wade, IIAT director of insurance programs.
