The Texas Department of Insurance, Division of Workers’ Compensation will hold a workshop on workers’ compensation health care networks on Jan. 31, 2007. The workshop will take place at the Capitol Auditorium, 1400 Congress Avenue, Room E1.004 in Austin. It begins at 9:00 a.m.
The purpose of the workshop is to inform and educate stakeholders about Workers’ Compensation Health Care Networks.
TDI staff members from the Life, Health and Licensing Program and the Property and Casualty Program will make presentations and answer questions at the workshop.
There is no charge for the workshop although registration is required.
Attendees will learn about the following topics:
- General Network Information (Update)
- What has not changed in workers’ compensation
- Independent Review Organization (IRO) Transition
- Network Representative Panel – How networks are working
- Possible Legislation
Seating will be limited to the first 300 respondents. Online registration will be available beginning Jan. 8, 2007.
