The Republic Group, a Dallas-base regional insurer, announced that Gina A. Wood has joined the company as its new auto product manager. In this newly created position, Wood will focus on product development, ease-of-doing-business, and growth and performance of its personal auto line.
Wood joined Allstate Insurance Company after graduating from Texas Tech University in 1995. She began her insurance career at Allstate’s Texas Regional Office as a personal lines underwriter. As she progressed in her career, she gained experience in risk management, product operations, competitive intelligence and product development. She eventually transferred to Allstate’s Home Office in Chicago, Ill., where she put these skills to work on a national level.
