Texas-based Insurors Group announced that William (Bill) Hertel of Austin, Texas, has been named as the group’s new president. Hertel has been a member of the Insurors Group since 2001.
Insurors Group was recently ranked as the 26th largest independent insurance agency in the nation by Insurance Journal (April 2006).
As president, Hertel will be responsible for setting and reaching goals that help advance the overall direction of the organization. Hertel currently operates as a Licensed Risk Manager with designations of Certified Risk Manager, Certified Insurance Counselor and Certified Workers’ Comp Advisor.
He is the owner of Hertel Insurors Group, LLP with offices in Austin, Fort Worth and Lubbock, Texas. He also serves on The Sitkins 100 Advisory Board.
