The Arkansas Workers’ Compensation Commission has posted proposed changes to existing rules and forms and a proposed new rule and accompanying form on its Web site at www.awcc.state.ar.us/2007proposed/proposed.html.
The public comment period for the proposed rules and forms began July 28, 2007, and will end on Sept. 10, 2007, at which time a public hearing will be held to address comments or questions regarding these proposed changes. This hearing is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. in Hearing Room “A”, located on the third floor of the AWCC building at 324 Spring Street in Little Rock. Oral and written comments will be considered at the hearing.

The proposed changes will also be a topic of discussion at the Arkansas Workers’ Compensation Fall Forum, which is set for Sept. 6 and 7, 2007, at the Arlington Hotel in Hot Springs, Ark.
