San Diego, Calif.-based Arrowhead General Insurance Agency Inc. announced that Charles R. Ball was appointed vice president and general manager of its Commercial Division’s Texas office.
In this position, Ball will manage the daily operations of Arrowhead’s commercial auto and specialty contractors programs. This includes underwriting management and developing marketing initiatives to capitalize on growth opportunities in the region.
Ball also will cross-market Arrowhead’s workers’ compensation initiatives throughout Texas.
Ball has extensive knowledge of the Texas commercial market from working in the Southwest for over 20 years. His experience includes underwriting, consulting and most recently managing a team of underwriters handling $42 million in premium for a carrier in south Texas. He also has held positions as a wholesale and retail agent, as well as worked for top rated national insurance carriers.
Ball holds his CRM designation.
