Eddie Monteith, a 20-year insurance veteran with extensive experience in executive and professional liability issues, has joined the Houston office of privately held independent insurance broker Lockton.
Monteith will be a senior vice president in Lockton’s financial services specialty team. He provides counsel to publicly held firms on corporate governance issues as well as director’s and officer’s insurance, employment practices liability, fiduciary liability and crime coverage.
Monteith, of Galveston, Texas, has spent the past 20 years with insurance broker Marsh, most recently as a senior vice president in the FinPro team. He worked with Johnson & Higgins before it was acquired by Marsh and also worked with Arthur L. Owen, an insurance broker in Dallas. He began his career as a surety broker.
Lockton is headquartered in Kansas City, Mo.
