National Insurance Partners (NIP) reported it has opened an office in San Antonio as part of the firm’s effort to expand product offerings and its presence in the Texas marketplace.
Melinda Garren was brought on as director of Service for the San Antonio location. Prior to joining NIP, Garren worked for almost 15 years in the retail insurance arena with the majority of those years serving commercial property and casualty clients in various industries for one of the largest independent insurance agencies in San Antonio.
NIP Founder and Chairman Bill Pollock said the expansion will improve the agency’s “presence in South Texas and provide support for our aggressive growth strategy and launch into the insurance market as an independently-owned brokerage firm.”
NIP plans to open 15 offices in the U.S. by the end of 2008 by acquiring and partnering with successful and high quality property and casualty insurance brokerage firms, and by 2010, have more than 100 locations across 50 states.
