Community Financial Insurance Adds Credo as Senior VP

Community Financial Insurance Center, Monroe, La., hired Jeanette F. Credo as senior vice president for its new Financial Institutions Division for the states of Louisiana, Alabama and Mississippi.

Credo will establish and manage a Baton Rouge-based office, which will be solely responsible for interactions with financial institution clients and Community Financial Insurance Center employees. She will also secure new and retain existing financial institution accounts.

Credo, who brings more than 20 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industries to this position, will report to Eugene Montgomery, president and CEO of Community Financial Insurance Center.

Credo was previously assistant vice president with Zurich North America Financial Enterprises based in Baton Rouge, La., where she developed and managed strategic relationships with emphasis on sales of Financial Enterprises products to distributors, banking associations and financial institution customers in Louisiana, Arkansas, Texas and Kentucky.

Prior to that, Credo was a financial services executive with Zurich, where she established strong market presence for the company in Louisiana by aggressively pursuing new business opportunities, practicing customer-focused relationship management and actively participating in the Louisiana Bankers Association (LBA). She has also worked as a property and casualty underwriter for Fidelity and Deposit Company, and Crum and Forster in Metairie, La.

Community Financial Insurance Center LLC, a Louisiana-based insurance agency, is owned by 48 community banks located throughout the state and is the affiliated agency of the Louisiana Bankers Association.
