May 27, 2009

Combined Agents of America LLC (CAA) elected its 2009 management committee and added its 41st member agency.

The new 2009 management committee includes:
• Chairman of the Board – Bill Bridges, executive vice president of Duncan, Fraser & Bridges, Pampa, Texas. Bridges serves on the board of directors of The Independent Insurance Agents of Texas (IIAT), and the Texas Mutual Agents’ Council and the Travelers’ Regional Agents Council.

• President – Don C. Jones, president of Crockett Insurance Service, president of Houston-Walker Counties Insurance Service & Crockett Financial Service, Crockett, Texas.

• Executive Vice President – Don Hudson, vice-president of JHC Insurance Agency Inc., Victoria, Texas.

• Second Vice President – Michael T. Siegeler, president of the Siegeler Insurance Agency Inc., Giddings, Texas.

• Secretary – Lloyd Eisenrich, president of The Weatherby-Eisenrich Inc., headquartered in Andrews, Texas, with two other locations in Odessa, Texas, as Edgmon-Eisenrich Insurance and in Granbury, Texas, as Insco Insurance. Eisenrich serves on the national advisory board NorthStar, the agency advisory board for Allstate Corp./Encompass Insurance.

• Treasurer – Jim Norris, CEO of Henry Norris Insurance Agency Inc., Lamesa, Texas. Norris is a graduate of Southern Methodist University with a BBA in Insurance.

• Past Chairman – Brent Borgstedte, president of GBS Insurance Agency Inc., Bellaire, Texas. Borgstedte is also a member of the Independent Insurance Agents of Houston’s board of directors.

Each CAA management committee member is elected to serve a staggered two-year term and is selected by its board of members based on their leadership abilities and contributions to the organization.

CAA also added its 41st member agency and its fourth new member in 2009 — Mr. Insurance Agency Inc. in San Angelo, Texas.

Founded in 1938, Mr. Insurance Agency serves the San Angelo and surrounding counties areas by writing all lines of insurance, including commercial, personal, and life and health policies. The independent insurance agency also specializes in providing truck insurance.

“Last year we experienced rapid growth by welcoming in four new members to CAA. So far in 2009, we’ve already matched that growth while expanding into two new states in the midst of a sluggish economy,” said Don C. Jones, CAA president and president of President of Crockett Insurance Service Inc. (Crockett, TX). “We’re always looking for good people to join our team, and our new chairman Bill Bridges will continue to steer CAA in a direction of outward expansion in Oklahoma, Kansas and the southwest region of the country.”
