Do these new laws mean that politicians think that the general public is stupid? Or does it mean that politicians are ignorant? I’m confused. Now I see my problem. I haven’t been told what to do or think in at least 10 minutes. I need a politician to tell me what to do. Boy I’m glad I figured that out. But how is that possible? I didn’t have a politician to help me.

But until they ban drivers from playing pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey, I won’t feel safe.

Apparently you have not been paying attention while driving. The average driver does seem stupid these days and does need to be forced into actually paying attention to the road. They read, twitter, call home, watch tv or anything else to keep from being bored with actually driving for a few minutes. You can’t fix stupid, but you can make a bit of it costly.

all this is shows that this new seat belt law is an elaborate scheme to create revenue for the state of louisiana. instead of “cracking down” on seat belts state police need to worry about getting drunk drivers, wreckless drivers, and drug traffickers off of louisiana highways. we have enough laws (federal and state) telling us what to do. we dont need this garbage. let the people decide what is right and stop parenting us.

drivers will need to give a wider berth to bicyclists and slow-driving sightseers will need to stick to the right lane on Louisiana’s highways ….that’s the dumbest crap I have ever heard of.

What about people driving and watching television.. shouldn’t there be a law against that! I think the politicians have the priority mix up
