Hispanic Affiliates General Agency Expanding, Recruiting Agents in Texas

March 11, 2011

Dallas-based Hispanic Affiliates General Agency LLC (HAGA) announced it is actively recruiting Hispanic independent agents in Texas.

According to the company’s announcement, HAGA provides independent agents marketing assistance and insurance sales leads, and access to A-rated insurance companies with quality insurance product choices designed to address the needs of Hispanic consumers.

According to preliminary results, the 2010 Census counts a record 50 million Hispanics, or one in every six U.S. residents. In Texas, the state’s population increased by 4.3 million from the previous census. Fully 65 percent of these new residents are of Hispanic origin. And, driven by greater opportunity and education, the Hispanic middle class is on the rise. In addition to purchasing homes and autos at a faster rate, more and more Hispanics are opening their own businesses. As a result, protecting themselves, their families, and their business enterprises are becoming top-of-mind. HAGA’s mission is to connect Hispanic independent agents with these Hispanic consumers, providing a cultural connection that promotes trust and lasting relationships.

HAGA is currently recruiting agents to serve the personal and commercial insurance needs of Hispanic families and individuals throughout Texas including the large Hispanic consumer markets in Dallas, Fort Worth, San Antonio and Houston.

HAGA said it will be launching its Hispanic consumer site in third quarter 2011.

Hispanic Affiliates General Agency LLC was founded by property and casualty insurance industry veteran Tony Gonzalez.
