Did any one else notice the statement at the end “the state of Texas Local Government Code only allows counties with a population of 250,000 or more or those adjacent to counties with that population to adopt a fire code.” Strange to have the law state that counties are not “allowed” fire codes unless……. It seems this should be something to put high on a priority list. Am I missing something?
