The Texas Department of Insurance has issued a mandatory annual data call to all insurance companies writing private passenger nonfleet automobile, homeowners multiple peril, workers’ compensation, commercial fire and allied lines, commercial multiple peril, general liability, boiler and machinery, commercial crime, commercial glass, medical professional liability, and miscellaneous professional liability in Texas.
The department said the data call will provide it with immediate access to market condition information. This call is required under the Texas Insurance Code.
Reporting instructions, forms, and the affidavit are on TDI’s website at www.tdi.texas.gov/bulletins/index.html. Insurers subject to this data call must complete and return the forms and affidavit in compliance with the general instructions no later than Feb. 10, 2017.
