Is it not odd that 1) a former public official (or anyone that’s not royalty or a celebrity) has a 4mm+ ring and that 2) she forgot it washing her hands? Kind of a big deal, a 4mm ring. Maybe she comes from (crazy) money…

and “she sent a Nov 6 email” to the resort?! For $4m, I think that’d be worth an immediate phone call,…. or at least delay your croquet game long enough to track down the resort manager. This story may not be written in a fully comprehensive manner, but this woman comes across as a complete idiot, in many, many ways.

Why in the world are you wearing a $4MM ring on vacation? Second, I would NEVER take it off except to put it back in the safe where it belongs.

And I agree with CTC, a former public official of CA no less…. wonder if that is part of the bankruptcy problem of that state.

Sorry, that is OK, read that as CA for some reason…Either way, still crazy.

At least she got her hands clean. Seriously, though, I agree with those who question wearing a $4mm ring on vacation. Secondly, who would own such a ring that would not have a mount that is ultra secure for the stone- certainly enough to wash hands without removing the ring.
