The Professional Insurance Agents of Florida (PIA) announced that Lorene “Lori” Williams was elected vice president of the 600-member trade association.
Williams, president and co-owner of J. Meyers Insurance Group in Orlando, has more than 25 years’ experience in insurance, with 22 of those years with J. Meyers. She holds the Certified Insurance Counselor and Accredited Advisor in Insurance certifications.
Mark O’Connell, executive vice president of PIA of Florida, noted, “Lori Williams has served on the PIA of Florida Board of Directors for many years. We have always been very impressed with her energetic enthusiasm and organizational skills—she has helped our association and members grow and develop, broadening our scope of influence and promoting the insurance industry. Lori has been instrumental in the growth of our association and we see her new position as furthering the industry and association even more.”
