The Sixth Annual Big I PAC Golf Tournament is scheduled Tuesday, Sept. 20 at the Prattville Country Club in Prattvile, Ala.
The purpose of this fun tournament is to raise money for AIIA’s political action committee. Next year is an election year for nearly every elected position in Alabama, and the Alabama Independent Insurance Agents are appealing to members to become involved to help maintain our current pro-business climate.
The morning shotgun start begins at 8 a.m., the afternoon round starts at 1 p.m. Prizes will be given to the winning teams in each division in each of the two rounds, for a total of four first-place teams.
The event will feature a helicopter golf ball drop. Lunch will be served and a dinner awards reception will conclude the day. The association is encouraging everyone who lives in a 75-mile radius to play in the morning round and offered them a discount.
A morning foursome is $400; an afternoon foursome is $500. Participation in the tournament will help AIIA support pro-business candidates.
