Aon Risk Solutions, the global risk management business of Aon plc, appointed John Jassmann to resident managing director in Atlanta.

In his new role, Jassmann will lead and grow the operations in Georgia, Tennessee and Alabama. He will also help maximize Aon’s various growth initiatives, including those related to health and benefits, executive benefits, middle market businesses and key client personal lines business.
Jassmann has 25 years of experience in underwriting, sales and operations. Most recently, he served in a variety of roles with Beecher Carlson, where he was executive managing director. Previously, he served as senior vice president of sales for OSI Outsourcing in their financial services division. He began his career in 1987 as a casualty underwriter with Aetna C&S and also spent 11 years with Wells Fargo Insurance until joining OSI in 2000. Jassmann holds an Associate in Risk Management designation.
