Louisville, Ky.-based insurance agency Neace Lukens announced it completed the acquisition of the Davis-Garvin Agency in Columbia, S.C.

All Davis-Garvin employees will remain in their current positions.
Davis-Garvin Agency is one of the largest agencies to combine with Neace Lukens in 2012. This latest acquisition expands Neace Lukens’ reach to 30 offices and over 650 employees.
Neace Lukens said Davis-Garvin is well-known for its specialized focus on lumber and forestry products. It also said Davis-Garvin’s offerings in property/casualty, personal insurance and employee benefits complement the current products available from Neace Lukens.
Neace Lukens, founded in 1991, has more than 175 licensed agents and more than 650 employees operating in 30 offices throughout Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Tennessee, Arizona, Georgia, Arkansas, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi and South Carolina.
Neace Lukens became part of AssuredPartners Inc. in September 2011. Headquartered in Lake Mary, Fla., AssuredPartners is a portfolio company of Chicago-based private equity firm GTCR. It acquires and invests in property and casualty and employee benefits brokerage businesses across the country.
