$500 is not enough for potential loss of life. The fine needs to be commensurate with the risk and loss of license for a specified period should accompany the fine.

The new law will not effect the incidents of these violations.
The arrogance of many students contribute to the problem.
Many students will walk down the road and not even move to the side of the road when traffic is coming. They want to control the streets, and not give right of way to traffic.
I have 12 grandchildren, and I tell them that they need to pay attention to traffic and not rely on Buss lights to stop traffic.
I just want to express that there is a shared responsibility to prevent school buss accidents. I want to eliminate all these events, but the fine value are not a detouring factor. We need to pass on to the students that they aye also responsible for there safety.
