Crawford Names Daniel VP of U.S. Property & Casualty Client Development

Crawford & Company has named Dan Daniel as vice president, U.S. Property & Casualty client development. He formerly served as vice president of Catastrophe Services for U.S. Property & Casualty for the company. Daniel reports to Larry Thomas, CEO, U.S. Property & Casualty and to Dr. Emanuel Lauria, executive vice president and chief client officer, Global Client Development.

In his new role Daniel will lead the U.S. Property & Casualty Business Development team with responsibility for new and improved client relations, as well as for growth in profitable revenue. He will continue to have oversight of Crawford’s catastrophe response for the U.S. and the Caribbean. Daniel is based in Crawford’s world headquarters in Atlanta.

Daniel’s loss adjusting experience includes serving as a catastrophe adjuster, branch adjuster, branch manager, regional manager and senior vice president of centralized services, which included overseeing catastrophe services. Before joining Crawford in 2015, he provided general claims management consulting services in Canada, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and Latin America, and earlier held various technical and operations management positions with a global claims management firm for 15 years. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Texas A&M University, as well as Associate in Claims and Legal Principles Claims Specialist designations from the Insurance Institute of America.
