As a Florida resident and homeowner, it is obvious that we can no longer deny the rising water crisis. While I do give credit where credit is due, and the state does seem to be implementing new construction and drainage throughout the coastal regions, especially off of Las Olas, there is still much to be done. With the way flooding is going in South Florida, claims will be through the roof by 2020. This is a great article to come across. It is nice to see that there are organizations that exist that are trying to educate South Florida homeowners on their responsibility as primary policy holders. We may be behind with taking action, but there is no time like the present to address this issue.
