2001 Could Top 2000 As Best Year for Sherwood

Sherwood Insurance Services, headquartered in San Francisco, reported 2000 as one of its best years in terms of growth and overall corporate performance. And Curt Biersch, president, believes that with the specialized talents of the company’s wholesale brokers and managers Sherwood will be “every bit as successful” in 2001.

Biersch recognized the hard work and dedication of the recently promoted brokers and managers in helping to achieve a 17 percent increase in premium volume in 2000. The growth included double-digit increases at the three offices where the promotions were announced.

In addition to its headquarters in San Francisco, Sherwood has offices Irvine, Sacramento, Woodland Hills and Seattle. The seven top managers and brokers who were promoted include (along with their new titles and office locations): Dawn Perri, senior vice president, Irvine; Lorraine Slocum, assistant vice president, Irvine; John Fosdick, assistant vice president, Irvine; Michael Annese, vice president, Woodland Hills; Jim Grace, vice president, San Francisco; Don Livingston, vice president, San Francisco; Kathryn Magruder, vice president, San Francisco.
