Property/casualty and life/health insurance professionals will find a timely subject on the table at the Seventh Annual Insuring The Children (ITC) Insurance Industry Forum on June 22 in Costa Mesa.
Set for discussion is the “Financial Stability of the Insurance Industry,” presented by this year’s keynote speaker, California Insurance Commissioner Harry W. Low.
Event Chairman Dennis Kristan of Arthur J. Gallagher in Irvine noted that, “Insuring The Children will host this important event, and we wanted to make it special as well as informative for our guests. This is an excellent opportunity to take advantage of networking with insurance professionals, hear what our industry leaders are saying about our future, while supporting this very worthwhile and important cause.”
Insuring The Children is a nonprofit organization created by insurance industry leaders with the goal of supporting child abuse prevention programs and raising awareness of child abuse and neglect.
The moderator will be Ben Zycher, an economist with the Rand Corporation; with guest speakers including Donald Hurzler, Zurich Middle Market president; and Norman Hanson, executive vice president and the number two ranking officer with the State Compensation Insurance Fund and the president of Aetna Health-West.
The forum will be held in Costa Mesa County at the Performing Arts Center, Founders Hall. Any company interested in donating funds should call Kristan at (949) 756-8500. Sponsors of the event will be invited to a luncheon afterward where they can meet the speakers personally.
