Irvine, Calif.-based Superior Access Insurance Services Inc. recently announced that they are expanding their personal umbrella programs with two new carriers – both are rated “A (Excellent) ” by A.M. Best.
One program offers limits from $500,000 – $2 million and is available in AK, CA, GA, NV and TX. Underlying limits required are $100/300/$50 on auto; $300,000 CSL on home or CPL; watercraft is $300,000 CSL and $500,000 CSL on rental units. Commission is 10 percent on both new and renewal business.
The second program is available in AL, AK, AZ, AR, CA, CO, CT., DE, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MD, MA, MI, MN, MS, MO MT, NE, NV, NH, NJ, NM, NY, NC, ND, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, UT, VT, VA, WA, DC, WV, WI, WY. Limits on this program are $1,000, 000 to $5,000. Required underlying limits are $100/300/$50 on auto; $300,000 CSL on home or CPL; watercraft is $300,000 CSL and $500,000 CSL on rental units. Commission is 10 percent on both new and renewal business.
There are some limitations and ineligible risks. Agents are invited to visit www.superioraccess.com to see which risks best fit into the programs. Most of the applications can be completed on line and rates are available at the site. In some instances, i.e. apartments with 5 or more units, vacant land, property in brush areas or hillsides will need to be referred to the company. Self-insured retention (SIR) is 1,000 for both programs.
