ABD Insurance and Financial Services, a leading provider of global risk management and employee benefits solutions, announces the opening of a regional office serving the greater Reno, Nevada area. The new office is located in the US Bank Building on the corner of South Virginia and Liberty Street in downtown Reno.
ABD is well established in the state of Nevada with a wide range of clients, including International Game Technology, Sierra Pacific Resources, Carson Tahoe Hospital and Sierra Nevada College.
“The Reno office will initially focus on providing employee benefits services, with an eye toward expansion into other areas of insurance and financial services within ABD’s scope,” CEO Fred De Grosz said. “We have an excellent reputation in the state of Nevada and the opening of a permanent office in Reno will strengthen our standing in the community.”
The Nevada operation is under the direction of Jim Hall, president of Employee Benefit Services, with Sales leadership provided by Andrew Cohen, senior vice president. The manager of the local office will be Lloyd Barnes, with Robert Moore, vice president of Sales; Roger Olsen, account director; and Tom Fisher, account director.
ABD, headquartered in Redwood City, California, also has offices in Torrance, Sacramento, Capitola, Petaluma, San Francisco, Oakland and Seattle.
