Sherman Oaks, Calif.-based Speare & Company Insurance Brokers recently announced that Jeff Lang has been promoted to sales manager. In addition to growing his book of business, Lang will be responsible for establishing goals; implementing a plan to reach those goals, seeking new producer talent and overseeing the new business plan for the agency. Speare & Company currently has 16 producers and they will report to Lang who will oversee the strategic plan for Speare’s growth.
Lang joined Speare & Company in 1999 as a producer, became assistant sales manager and now has been promoted to sales manager. His corporate and risk management experience includes professional liability, finance and executive and corporate liability, commercial real estate, corporate finance, construction, aviation and aerospace, marine, e-commerce, pollution, professional organizations (i.e. law firms, architects, engineers, securities brokers and dealers, etc) medical and pharmaceutical, food processing, printing/publishing, and manufacturing.
